The Festival of Genomics & Biodata is BACK!
Returning for its 6th consecutive year, the 2021 Festival is jam packed with incredible speakers, sessions, experiences and networking - all accessed from the comfort of your own home or office, both live and on-demand.
We wanted to give you the opportunity to register early and join 5,000+ other attendees at the Festival. 90% of attendees qualify for a free ticket. Register for your ticket now.
Who’s Speaking?
Because the 2021 Festival is digital, we can now bring you 200+ incredible speakers this year from around the globe, including many of the mega-stars of genomics and biodata across research, healthcare and industry:
Eric Topol, Founder & Director, Scripps Research Translational Institute Heidi Rehm, Chief Genomics Officer, Massachusetts General Hospital Sir John Bell, Regius Professor of Medicine, University of Oxford Dame Sue Hill, Chief Scientific Officer, NHS England Eric Green, Director, National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) Jennifer Fogarty, Chief Scientist, NASA Human Research Programme Marc Sultan, Global Head, Genetics and Genomics, Roche Baroness Nicola Blackwood, Chair, Genomics England Mark Effingham, Deputy CEO, UK Biobank Ting Wu, Associate Faculty, Wyss Institute at Harvard UniversityWe’re committed to a 50:50 gender split among the speaker faculty, and are on track to hit that.
We’re still confirming speakers, so the line-up is only going to get stronger! Click here to see the latest list.
Be Part Of Something Special
The Festival was set up in response to the death of my father to a rare form of cancer, and is driven by a social mission: to deliver the benefits of genomics to patients faster. Its purpose is to accelerate progress, educate, inspire and engage people around genomics and biodata – to positively impact as many patient lives as possible.
So that it has the greatest social impact, the Festival is free to attend for 90% of our audience. Coronavirus has hit charities hard, so you have the option of donating to help our nominated charity, Cancer Research UK. If you like, you can donate directly to Cancer Research UK via the link on our event registration page. It’s entirely optional.

Who’s the Festival for?
The Festival is for everyone working in and around genomics and biodata – for healthcare workers, clinicians, researchers, pharma and biotech companies, patient groups/charities, and also investors, students, government and technology companies.

So Much More Than the Agenda
The Festival is more than a bunch of (amazing) talks and speakers. We’re working on developing an incredible event experience for Festival attendees. Here’s a preview of some of what’s going on:
“Talkaoke”: The ‘Flying Saucer of Chat’ goes digital, with themed discussions and engaging, free-flowing conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. Social Lounge: A space to hang out with other attendees, join themed discussions and dive into speed networking sessions. Poster Sessions: Browse the latest ground-breaking research with handpicked posters from Festival attendees. Mastermind Groups: Running parallel to the agenda, these discussion-led sessions will emerge you into some of the most exciting topic areas in genomics and biodata. Start-Up Zone: Have a cool idea for a genomics/biodata-related business? Or already running a start-up? Meet likeminded entrepreneurs, investors and advisors in a focused day of talks, discussion and networking. Live Lounge Sessions: A series of short, concise technical presentations from some of the most innovative companies working in the field. Young Scientist Sessions: The next generation are about to take on the next set of challenges in genomics. Find out how during these short presentation sessions. The Festival at Night: In development, but we have some exciting things planned. More announcements soon!Like what you see? Get your ticket now by heading over to the Festival registration page. And join 5,000+ Festival attendees for the world’s first truly global genomics and biodata event!!
